Welcome to the Elsie Historical Society. EHS is a small, friendly society that offers to help provide history and research for the area. You can observe items from the very far past, all the way up to the present. The items and research not only include Elsie, but the surrounding areas. You just never know what you may find or learn at the EHS. The EHS is a group of members, both Active (who pay dues and donate their time) and Non-Active (who just pay dues), that help keep the EHS open and available to the public. At an affordable $5/yr (individual) or $7/yr (family) you too can become a member of the EHS. They always welcome new members or any donational contribution. No donation is too small and they are always appreciated. For donational and memorial contributions, or interested in becoming a member of the EHS, you can contact Doris Gregor. The Elsie Historical Society is open each Wednesday from 2pm - 5pm. Located in Elsie, at 145 W. Main St, about a half block west of the stoplight and is connected to the Elsie Public Library and Duplain Township Hall. |
